Installing Modern Bathroom Vanities With Vessel Sinks is One Way to Spruce Up Your Bathroom

Bathroom Vanity Sinks

Life is changing at a fast rate and so is our outlook. What seemed smart and eye-catching yesterday, often seems dull and outdated today. Bright and interesting room décor is necessary not only to impress the guests, but it also has a relaxing influence on our psychic. They make it easier for us to relax and recoup the lost energy. Therefore, each room should be given a fresh touch some time or the other just to make sure that the décor looks striking forever and ever.

Remember, your bathroom is a room too. Not only that, it is an important part of the house too. It too needs to be refreshing. However, it is one room that does not give you much chance of refurnishing. However, installing modern bathroom vanities with vessel sinks is one way you can do it with ease. Change the sink off and on and your bathroom will have a fresh look each time. They are available in different makes, materials and styles.

Each one will give a new look to your bathroom.

That however, is just an idea and you may find it quite bizarre. Then again, some may find it quite intriguing. You never know. Although there is a set course in interior decoration, one should not be guided by any hard and fast rule. On the contrary, those who are guided by their own sense of beauty and style make a much better interior decorator. This is especially true about those who are decorating their own home.

If it is really your home that you are trying to spruce up, throw the magazines out of the window and follow your own style and your sense of beauty. What is more, keep the comfort level in mind as well. A home, after all, is a place where you relax and this should be kept in mind while you selecting the bathroom furniture as well.

Do not put in too much furniture in your bathroom either. It will not only make the place cluttered, but also suffocating. The ambience should be relaxing enough to make you feel free to spend some time in there. Good hygiene requires you not to hurry through the process, but to go slow.

Measure your bathroom first. Take note of every odd corner. Bathroom vanities today come in wide variety of sizes. You can find one as small as 18” in width only while some more elaborate vanities can be 50” wide. The size of the vanity should not only depend on the size of the bathroom, but also on the location where it is to be put. If the space is small, a modern single bathroom vanity should do very well. Although such a vanity can hold only one sink, under normal circumstances it should not pose any problem at all.

Double sink vanities are useful when two people need to use the bathroom simultaneously. When one is doing her teeth, other can have a shave. However, we are rarely in that much hurry and therefore are hardly ever in need of it. It had its uses in the olden days when sinks were used for washing, but now with the advent of washing machine, the idea has become obsolete. However, you may differ and find them to be useful even today. What is more, if your bathroom is too big, such vanities may help you fill up the space.

While picking up the vanity, keep the following points in mind:

The size of the vanity should be neither too big nor too small for your bathroom.

Some shapes take up more space than others do and keep that in mind while choosing the vanity, especially if the bathroom is small.

Wall hung vanities save floor space and look less cluttering.

Glass vanities also create the illusion of larger space. So do white or pastel color vanities.

Black vanities on the other hand are very conspicuous. They need to be intelligently contrasted to create a warm feeling.

Another point that you should look into is how much storage space you want. A vanity is after all a storage cabinet that holds a sink and hides the plumbing. The modern bathroom vanities though do not always have large storage space and in that case, you may have to buy a separate storage cabinet. Think about the whole spectrum instead of just one specific fixture. That is the secret behind successful remodeling.

A Slice ofUndead Life

By

January Bain.

Winter Kennedy had spent all her time, like most of us on earth, with a sense of waiting for her life to begin. And now, as she took a moment to check her appearance in the rear view mirror of the rental car, then reaching over and pulling a lip gloss from her purse resting on the front seat and applying a light touch, she knew that time was here. She was running late for her dress rehearsal but still wanting to look her best. Just thinking that tomorrow would be her wedding day was charging her body with electric sensations of pure adrenaline. Satisfied she was presentable, she put the key into the ignition and froze—a voice filled the space around her and pierced her unguarded mind.

“Nice to see you again, Winter.”

The smooth voice of Christopher St. John sucked up all the air in the vehicle. The contrast to the last few wonderful days was too much and she was unable to make a connection to any other thought for a few paralyzing moments for her brain had shut down, over ridden with apprehension and the beginnings of terror.

Finally she found her voice as the vampire appeared in the passenger seat in a blur of hazy movement, dumping her purse on the floor in the process.

“I…I didn’t expect to see you again.”

“Ah, but I am a man, or should I say, a vampire of my word.” His sardonic comment gave her a queasy feeling.

“Things…have changed. I don’t want to be a vampire now. I’m getting married tomorrow and…” She hated the pleading tone of her voice. She was stunned by the sudden arrival of the creature and the words spilled out on their own violation.

“Yes, I am aware of your pathetic dabbling with the human. It’s all beneath you. You’re too fine for their world. A beauty like yours comes only once in a thousand years and needs to be preserved for all eternity. That is my quest; that is my service to the Lore.”

“No, I’ve changed my mind. I…”

“What you want is not of importance, you are confused—too human. You were meant to call me. As your new age humans like to profess, nothing happens without a reason. I will help you see the truth and that is my final elucidation on this subject.”

The vampire’s eyes glittered in the lamplight as he placed his hands on each side of her face. She froze once more, her eyes huge as he bent down and caressed her throat, the vein containing her life’s blood throbbing under the pressure of his cold fingers.

     “You said… I had a choice.”

“Did you really believe that.” His unholy voice was now colored with patronizing overtones. “I gave you too much credit—I thought you were one of the more intelligent women of your species.”

His condescending words enraged Winter and she pulled away violently only to be trapped in an instance by his inhuman strength as he pulled her close in the claustrophobic confines of the vehicle.

“The pain will only be momentarily. Fighting it will only make it worse. Relax, hush little one.” His voice was mesmerizing as he gathered her close and sunk his lips into her neck. A brief start of intense pain caused Winter to let out a moan and then she felt nothing, thought nothing, as the vampire stole the life force from within her.

And then it was her turn and she was dimly aware of his taking up an ornate dagger and cutting a slice open on his upper chest where he unbuttoned his silk shirt and pulled her lips to the spot and forced her to take in the fluid that leaked from the deep cut. The taste was abominable and she wanted to spit it out but he held her head still against his broad chest and finally she was forced to swallow the bitter substance. She would have given anything not be aware of these last few moments of her human existence and it was all she could do not to howl aloud like the cornered wolf.

“There, it’s done. Soon it will be over and we can be together as one.” These were the last words Winter heard before she was taken over to the dark side.

* * *

Winter opened her eyes. The last thing she remembered was the vampire, Christopher St. John, making her drink from his blood—if blood it was considering, its vile taste. She licked her dry lips and sat up, her eyes looping around the strange room, checking for any sign of vampire. She was thankful to be alone and she went back over what had transpired just before she had lost consciousness: the vampire appearing in her vehicle, the pain at the sinking in of his fangs, and the dreadful sucking sound as he had drank from her carotid artery. She drew her hand to her neck and felt for the holes only to find her neck smooth. She was healed! That could only mean one thing—she was now vampire…and Aiden, her beloved, was lost to her forever.

Trying to make sense of a senseless situation, she found her sea legs and got up, finding herself very weak, almost too weak to make it to the dresser. She managed to stumble the short distance and turn on a lamp. She had had it all wrong. She thought she would wake up strong and healthy and here she was weaker than she had ever been. Why? Because of her pre-existing illness? Was the aggressive form of ALS—Lou Gehrig’s disease that she was cursed with, hampering her transition?

She sat down on the vanity chair and looked into the mirror and saw, with relief, that she looked almost the same. She had always been very fair so a little whiter made no real difference. Perhaps her hair had more life as it flowed out in white-blonde profusion down her bare shoulders, and her eyes were very intense, like the blue-violet color had picked itself up a notch, but no one else would notice the subtle differences, she considered, surprising herself at the casual acceptance of her new undead status.

And then a first sharp strike of hunger drove her to her knees and she lurched forward onto the plushy carpeted floor, pushing her fist into the pain that was radiating in every-increasing waves from her empty stomach. God, but it hurt. She moaned in pain and then distantly heard the bedroom door open and someone move quickly across the carpet to join her.

Christopher picked her up in his arms and laid her on the bed.

“Wait here, I’ll be right back.” She rolled back and forth on the cover as she felt the pain try to turn her inside out. It was like nothing she could ever have imagined and her brain shut down and her mind centered only on the agony as she felt her body shudder in ways that she could not have imagined it enduring and surviving.

And then he was back and pushing a crystal goblet in her hands that smelled like manna from heaven and she needed him to guide it to her mouth where she drank deeply and kept drinking until it was empty.

     “More.”

The single word sent him out of the room as she waited, sitting up now, for the pain releasing ability that consuming blood, like a drug addiction, had instantly become.

The second dose vanished as quickly as the first and Christopher obediently went back for a third helping.

Finally satiated, Winter wiped her lips on the back of her hand and got up. She felt the power of the blood flowing into her system, recharging her life force and making her instantly aware of her body’s senses being heightened and fully charged with crackling energy. She laughed aloud at the overwhelming good feeling—a super high of strength and wellness that superseded any feeling humanly imaginable, except maybe becoming a super hero character with super human powers. She was similar to a manic depressive as she swung from the deepest low to the highest high.

“I feel so alive!’ She couldn’t help exclaiming aloud.

The vampire smiled smugly at her, happy to feed her ego “Yes, it’s an oxymoron experience—being undead yet so alive. It only gets better, Star. Your powers will grow daily until you are a force to be reckoned with—for human or beast.”

“I had no idea that it would feel like this. Is this the usual way of it?” She was full of curiosity now and wanting to embrace the glorious feeling. She wanted to know everything that there ever was, read every book that had been written, go out and see every piece of art created since the beginning…

“I think it varies. Some newly changed vampires don’t cross over well. Something goes missing and they become like beasts. Others, like you, change and become their better selves. Though I don’t think I’ve seen anyone change quite so dramatically as you. You are so fully formed—so quickly. It usually takes a few weeks, or even months before most become as on as you. I knew you would be the perfect partner for me, a true mate of the highest caliber, and here you are proving my belief in you.” He smiled in satisfaction at his protégé.

“What kind of powers?” And to herself she thought, knowing he would not be able to read her thoughts anymore, and can I make my way back to Aidensoon?

“Ah, that can also vary. But you should be able to physically defeat a human foe right from the beginning. I think other powers, like vanishing, will take more time to learn and develop. You have nothing, if not time now. Enjoy the learning process, I will take you through the journey—guide you carefully.”

What most amazed Winter was the total lack of fear and guilt she was now experiencing. Human, she had been tortured with grief, driven crazy by fear, and made low by guilt. Now she was on a high that superseded any imaginable feeling a human being could have. She knew she could get back to Aiden and that he would want this too. It went without saying that they would be together again, only this time for all time. The thought gave her instant peace.

“Are you ready to meet the others?”

“Certainly.” No time like the present, she thought. She needed to meet her adversaries to prepare to do whatever was necessary to escape their clutches. Her beloved waited for her return.

“I’ll leave you to freshen up and change into a new dress. Would an hour be acceptable?”

Winter liked his new attitude. She gracefully nodded her acquiescence—like an Egyptian queen of old.

Christopher was supremely satisfied by his Star’s exhibiting a royal nature and left her with a brief bow of his own, in recognition of her new found importance to the Lore.

Winter made her way to the bathroom and enjoyed a long shower, luxuriating in soaping and conditioning her long hair and young, healthy body. She surveyed her naked body in the mirror as she blow-dried her hair and was happy to see, if anything, it was better and firmer than before. A satisfied smile lit her countenance as she finished up her grooming. Adding make-up she would not normally have chosen, but finding that now it somehow worked better for her. Applying a rich red lipstick, she pressed her lips together to smooth out their appearance and felt a slight sting in her mouth.

Going closer to the mirror, she lifted her upper lip only to find two small, what could only be called fangs, protruding from her former eye-teeth. The evidence was startling, and for a brief moment she stopped, arrested by the image. Then she shrugged, it was, after all, only to be expected. She was now an immortal and it was a small price to be paid for such an enormous gift.

She didn’t pull on the first dress she found in the closet as would be her habit of old, but perused her choices, finally settling on a floating number that swirled in purplish-blue chiffon to the floor and left very little to the imagination, dipping down to her waist in a deep-v. It was totally unlike anything she had worn before; or anything that she would conceive of choosing in the normal course of a lifetime, but she felt invincible by the beauty that greeted her readily in the mirror and it was an easy decision to showcase that beauty for her subjects. Donning high-heeled strappy sandals in glittery gold, she was more than satisfied by the final vision in the mirror, her hair brushed to a burnished sheen hanging down one shoulder to her waist, tied with a matching ribbon coordinated to the colors in her dress.

With just moments to go before the hour was up, she strode to the door, knowing that Christopher was on his way to greet her. And the satisfied look on his face was worth the effort, she thought with relish, as she allowed him to take her hand and guide her into dinner. While she was learning the ropes she would enjoy her new-found power, she decided in the moment, and be better prepared to escape and get back to Aiden, unaware of how very much becoming vampire had already changed her—already she was not the same woman that the love of her life remembered her to be.

They were the last to arrive, Winter observed as she took in the small group assembled for her pending introduction. Christopher kept by her side as he took the time to fully introduce each member of his household to her.

“This is my chef Alina. Alina, this is Star, my new bride.”

The new bride announcement was a nasty surprise, but Winter hid it well as she graciously took the striking girl’s hand. Her black hair was swept up into a long sleek pony tail that cascaded half way down her back. The thick black bangs highlighted her bright blue eyes where a surprising twinkle lurked in their depths. “I’m happy to make your acquaintance, Star. Welcome aboard.” She pressed her hand affectionately and then moved aside to let others come up to greet her.

The next vampire to be introduced was less warm in their curt introspection of Winter and cold, glittery eyes greeted hers. The mid-twenties male was slightly effeminate in his actions and she was left to wonder if she was seen as competition for the few possible partnerships that made up the small group.

Next, she met a young, mated pair that were much like Barbie & Ken dolls, and obviously happy to be a couple. She could read no aggression in their eyes or body language and turned to the last vampire. Now this was a different type of vampire—ancient and commanding of presence, she could read instant dislike for her presence in its haughty stance and cold, black eyes. This male vampire had a body-guard type of stance, head shaved and prerequisite tattoos and facial piercings decorating its outer body.

“Why, how lovely to meet you, Brandon! And I would bet your tattoos tell a story. Please, it you would be so kind as to allow it, may I look more closely at the work?”

A quick expression of surprise flashed across his heavy face and he looked into her eyes where she was very careful to keep her expression warm and inviting. She waited patiently and then he tentatively held out his arm and pointed to a large tattoo of a huge knife driven through a glossy read heart.

“That’s in honor of my first love. She earned this dedication with her devious ways as so many women do—vampires are no different in my experience.”

His words challenged her and she smoothly replied, “It is a wise man that learns from his experiences. I admire you for that. And this one, what life experience does it represent?” Winter pointed to another tattoo of a dagger with the words Nil Carorundum Illegitimi carved into the base.

He grinned dangerously and shrugged, “Loosely translated it means don’t let the bastards grind you down—just a personal philosophy.”

“And a quite knowledgeable one I would imagine.” She remarked with understanding.

“It is—both as human and as vampire.”

“Well, I look forward with real pleasure to getting to know you better, Brandon.”

She was rewarded with a smile and a courtly kiss to the back of her hand which pleased her to no end. She could almost feel Christopher puff out his chest beside her at the positive developments she was in charge of creating.

The informal meet and greet stopped as a chime rang out the lateness of the hour.

“Star, if you would be so kind as to be seated, we will partake of refreshments.” Christopher was holding her chair for her and she was gratified to see she had the place of honor at the right-hand side of hermaker.

Christopher poured forth the dark red blood into her goblet and then his own. Handing the crystal decanter to Brandon, who sat next to Christopher on his left, he did the same and handed it on. All waited till the goblets were filled. It appeared to be a nightly ritual as they knew what to do, Winter surmised as she waited for events to unfold. Being the newest member, she was wise to watch and learn, she thought, waiting for a signal to partake of the glorious substance.

“A toast,” Christopher held his goblet high, “to the newest member of our group, Star. Long may you reign being undead: the gift of gifts, the gift of the pharaohs, the gift of forever.”

And in her mind Winter added the most important part, and the gift of getting back to be with Aiden, my true love.

“Here, here!” Acknowledging his pronouncement and the positive response—Winter, aka Star, bowed her head slightly in appreciation of her new status as the new matriarch vampire of their tribe. It felt good to be vampire.

How to Organize and De-Clutter Your Home without Being Overwhelmed

Bathroom Vanity Sinks

Do you get overwhelmed with the clutter in your home? Maybe you get even more overwhelmed at the thought of what to do with all the clutter. Clutter adds stress to your life and environment. A home that is well-organized is much more pleasant to live in. Not to mention, you use items more efficiently and you aren’t searching endlessly for what’s needed. If junk keeps piling up, you’ll soon outgrow your house. De-clutter your home with an organized method.

Getting Started

Choose one room to start with. De-cluttering in steps is less overwhelming and you’ll get more accomplished. If you don’t have a lot of time, you don’t have to de-clutter an entire room all at once. Start with one drawer or closet at a time. Set a goal of decluttering at least a small area once a day. This gives a sense of accomplishment and incentive to keep going. Going from left to right of a room can help you stay focused. Get the entire family involved.

Separate Items

Separate items into the following categories

*  throw aways
*  donate, give away, yard sale
*  keep in place
*  items wanted, but to store elsewhere

Items that haven’t been used for a long time are taking up space. Some may not even be usable. Throw these away. You may have items that are still usable, but not to you. Donate to Good Will, The Salvation Army or a needy family in your community. If you like yard sales, have one of your own. Yard sales can be quite enjoyable. You get rid of unneeded items, while meeting new and interesting people. You help someone else and can earn money to purchase something you really want. A focus on giving will help you detach from items you don’t really need.

For items that are needed or wanted, use baskets, boxes or other containers to neatly organize them. I’ve even used pretty flower pots to store small items such as cosmetics, pens and pencils, etc. Look around the house for items you can use for containers before buying something new.

For items that are rarely used, but you want to keep, buy plastic storage boxes and put them in a dry basement, garage or attic. Even space under the bed will work well as under-the-bed storage boxes are readily available. Hat boxes, decorative trunks also offer added storage.

Daily Items

Why make decluttering harder on yourself? As soon as you get the mail out of the box, separate it. Throw junk mail away. Have a place for bills. When you walk out of a room take something that doesn’t belong in there to where it does belong, such as dirty dishes or magazines scattered around. The main living area usually gets cluttered by the daily items. Spending a few minutes a day on decluttering will prevent you from having to do a complete overhaul in the long run.

The Kitchen

Start with one cabinet. Assess each item carefully. How often do you use it? How well does it serve you? How many glasses, plates, frying pans, etc. are needed for your family size? Downsize appropriately. Organize similar items together and the most needed items in areas you can access the easiest.

Wire racks can double your space. I found them at Wal-Mart for little cost. This gives more space especially for storing canned food since you store cans under the rack and then on top of them.

Take everything out of junk drawers and under the sink. Throw away those expired store and restaurant coupons and anything that’s a waste of space. Organize silverware neatly in trays made for them, inside of drawers.

Downsize on cleaning products. Choose a couple favorites and lessen your clutter. Better yet…go natural and use products such as white vinegar, lemon juice and baking soda.

The Bathroom

The bathroom is one of my favorites to organize. Take everything out of the medicine cabinet. Check expiration dates on medicines and vitamins. Throw out anything that has expired. Learn to buy only items that are needed. You don’t need numerous brands of shampoo, hair spray, etc. Stick to a couple of brands that have proven to work well. Organize by “like” items.

Clear the vanity. Organize make-up and other items neatly in baskets or small bins. Store shampoo, shaving cream, etc. under the vanity in easy pull-out plastic baskets. Buy a tall metal or wood bathroom shelf for storing towels. I bought one for on sale and it looks very pretty. Or, towels can be rolled and a few placed in a large wicker basket.

While you’re at it…look through make-up items and dispose of anything you no longer use or has passed it’s prime. Old make-up can cause eye infections. Clean brushes, sharpen eye and lip liners. Place most-used lipstick, liners, brushes in a small decorative container and place on vanity for easy access.

Bedrooms

Bedrooms should offer a sense of tranquility. Less is better! If the top of your dressers are cluttered, remove everything and decide on a few items to use. The rest can be stored and used later for a variety. Use a basket to store a few books or magazines. Clean out drawers and discard unusuables or give away usable items.

Think of a theme for your bedroom. Add ambience by using scented candles and looking for items around your house that will fit the theme. Sometimes using items in different rooms can feel like you’ve bought new.

A simple way to add new pictures to your decor is to print an image from the internet on parchment, glossy or matte paper; place it in a pretty frame. Very inexpensive and you can change the look anytime you want. Make sure the images are free to use.

Children’s bedrooms should be simplistic, offering enough space to move around and play. Put toys in storage bins or toy boxes. Have a hamper for each child’s dirty clothes. A desk is nice for doing homework. Pencils, paper and other supplies should be neatly organized on the desk.

Closets

Take clothing out of closets. Sort clothing by what fits “now”. Also sort by season. Store items that are out of season. Donate clothing that no longer fits or at least store it away if you have a goal to lose weight. If you become very undecided on a few articles, put them aside and concentrate on what you are sure about. Go back to the ones you aren’t sure of later.

Use shoe organizers for shoes or other items such as gloves, scarves, etc. There are many other closet organizes. Choose according to what fits your items and your closet size. Think twice before buying more clothing, impulsively.

Arrange clothing by color, short sleeve or long sleeve, pants, skirts, dresses, coats, etc.

DeStress and Reward

Many people get stressed over not knowing where to start. The key to doing this (so you don’t go crazy) is to do it in small steps, but stick to your plan. You might want to de-clutter a drawer while watching tv. The next day you can de-clutter another drawer. De-cluttering doesn’t have to be a dreaded task.

I de-clutter frequently and find the better organized I am, the better I feel on a daily basis. I can find what I need and make better use of what I have. Clutter can cause stress and de-cluttering can offer a sense of accomplishment. Reward yourself or your family with a nice dinner out on the town or maybe a movie. You deserve it!

Wonderful Ways to Renovate on a Budget

Bathroom Vanity Sinks

It really comes down to the individual and the determination and creativity they are willing to put their efforts to. If you are the type that has to play it safe with every project, you could be missing out on some wonderful ideas that may seem unconventional but will have broad scope appeal in design.
Old laminate counter tops need not look horrific anymore. There are products out on the market that can take plain laminate counters and make them look nearly like Granite without the cost. One such product is called Giani countertop kit and it retails for around .00 per kit. The photo gallery at Giani will have you dying to try your hand at it. Not only can you transform your kitchen counters, but also those dated bathroom laminate counters as well. See Giani Granite Paint For Countertops. The kit includes everything you need to transform ugly plain laminate into something beautiful and lasting. Another low cost idea can be found at www.granitclad.com.
Use what you have in design. A great idea in design is a great idea regardless of how inexpensive it is. Unconventional or not. Try thinking outside the box by using old dressers for bath vanities, see HGTV’S Bedroom Furniture Goes to the Bath.  Old kitchen tables can be used in ways you never dreamed possible. Bathroom Vanity Units for DIY Weekend Remodeling

Bathroom Vanity Sinks

With a new bathroom vanity unit, it’s easy to improve the equity of a home over the weekend. When determining the value of a home, the bathroom is one of the most important factors. Bathroom vanity units add a whole new focus to the room and can easily change the overall look. With the addition of a new bathroom vanity unit, other additions like bathroom sink faucets and vanity mirrors can easily be planned around the new addition.

Adding a bathroom vanity unit is not only an easy project that can be completed in a day or two, but it is also a lot cheaper than completely overhauling the whole room. And bathroom remodeling projects will pay back much more value into the home than they cost. By simply replacing the bathroom vanity unit, bathroom sink and faucets, one can easily modernize an outdated bathroom. Many of the homes built 10, 20 or 30 years ago have very outdated bathroom vanity units made of low-quality materials like particle board, which date the home.

Modern bathroom vanities come in all varieties; they can even be made to look as if they’re antique. Many of the modern bathroom vanity units have very sleek lines and minimal decorations, where as the antique-looking versions are grander and more intricately decorated. Bathroom sink designs have been raised to the level of art, as well. It is wise to spend some time researching what will look best in the bathroom for years to come, since bathroom sinks, vanities, facets and mirrors will have to compliment each other. Any individual pieces of the bathroom vanity unit will be a better investment if it can be switched out without completely upsetting the design.

Some bathroom vanity units are designed to hold a contemporary bathroom sink, which come in glass and above-counter options, for example. Other bathroom vanity units are designed to hold a more traditional under-mounted bathroom sink. Before beginning any bathroom remodeling project, homeowners should be sure that the bathroom vanity unit will accommodate the bathroom sink they have chosen. The right hardware and bathroom sink faucets are also necessary to enhance the look a homeowner is trying to achieve.

Perhaps the most important bathroom accessories are the vanity mirrors. A quick update in this department can dramatically change the look of the bathroom. Mirrors create an affect in the room to make it appear larger, brighter and more inviting. This is one of the easiest ways to remodel the bathroom during a weekend project without a lot of money or effort. Vanity mirrors can make it appear as if the room has had additional space added, windows put in and new lighting installed without going through all the trouble.

A new bathroom vanity unit adds a whole new focal point to the room, update an old look, and add value to the home in a simple weekend project. The bathroom may just be the most often-used room in the house, so it’s a good place to start for anyone who wants to update their home.
